d'strict holdings Inc. and CJ CGV Co., Ltd. ("the Service Provider") establish and disclose this Personal Information Processing Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws, and to handle users' privacy-related grievances quickly and smoothly.
We process personal information for: (1) inquiries about placing a license order (see Article 2); and (2) newsletter subscription and event notifications (separate consent required). Processed information is not used for any other purpose; if the purpose changes, we obtain additional consent as required by law.
Items collected: company/department & title, full name, phone number, email address, and address. Purpose: to respond to license-order inquiries; to verify the user's identity in relation to orders; to maintain a communication channel and give order-related notices; and, with separate consent, to provide promotional information such as newsletters, events, discounts and offers. Retention: two (2) years after receipt of an order. If a user requests deletion, the information is deleted without delay. Consent to receive promotional information is obtained separately and is optional; refusal does not affect your use of the service.
We use personal information only within the agreed purposes and do not disclose it externally without the user's prior consent, except in limited cases permitted by law, for example: with prior consent; when necessary for delivery; for anonymized statistics/research; to settle transaction expenses; for identity verification to prevent theft; or where required by law.
We do not outsource the processing of personal information without the user's consent. If we do, details of the outsourced work and company are posted on our website. As of December 2021, no processing is outsourced.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of your personal information (in writing, by email, or by fax), and we will act without delay. Requests may be made through a legal representative or authorized agent with the proper documentation.
When the purpose of processing is achieved or the retention period elapses, we destroy personal information without delay (within 5 days). Electronic files are destroyed by technical means that prevent recovery; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
We take technical, administrative and physical measures: minimizing and training staff who handle personal information; internal control plans; encryption of personal data; anti-hacking security programs with regular updates; access controls and firewalls; and physically secured storage with access control.
